1 tbsp. SA BBQ (Braai)

1 tbsp. African Tribal Blend Spice

1 cup dice onions

1 cup cooked (soft) & diced sweet potato

1 cup cooked (soft) and diced butternut

1 cup grated mushroom

1 tin washed & drained Black beans- smashed

2 tbsp. soy sauce

10 drops smoke extract (I use hickory liquid smoke extract)

1 cup rolled oats in an electric blender for 20 seconds to form a binding flour


Throw all ingredients into a mixing bowl

Mash the ingredients, making sure all components are blended together

Now add in the oat flour and combine thoroughly

If you see the mixture is too soft, add in a little more oat flour until the patty mixture sticks to your mixing spoon

Now form your burger patties onto a lined baking tray

At 180C bake for 15 minutes and flip over for the final 15 minutes.
